The Invention Disclosure Form (IDF) is the first step in the process of identifying intellectual property (IP) and determining how to proceed with it.
An IDF should be submitted when something new and useful has been invented.
The submitted IDF are confidential.

Please submit an Invention Disclosure Form before any public disclosures
(lecture, posters, presentations, etc.) that may adversely affect the patentability of an invention.
